Michael L. Luchetta:
More than 35 Years in Family Law

Michael Luchetta devotes 100% of his practice to the area of family law. Since the beginning of his law career in 1986, Mr. Luchetta’s philosophy in handling cases is to attempt to resolve his cases quickly, equitably, and amicably, if possible. This helps to reduce or minimize the amount of fees clients incur, as Mr. Luchetta recognizes how financially devastating a divorce can be.

Mr. Luchetta has no hesitation, however, in fighting the good fight, and being able to counter the aggressive tactics sometimes asserted by opposing counsel, and is well equipped to take on the difficult cases. While Mr. Luchetta has been trained in the Collaborative Law approach, has worked on Collaborative Law cases, and encourages clients to work in that area, a certain percentage of his practice is devoted to high-conflict cases that are anything but amicable or collaborative.

Mr. Luchetta’s experience in the family law area helps him recognize and identify the primary issues in cases, and thus to focus upon them. He is very familiar with the experts who are sometimes called upon to serve as witnesses or in court-appointed capacities (accountants, parenting time evaluators, Child & Family Investigators, Parent Coordinators, and Decision Makers), and his knowledge of the reputations of the individuals who serve in these capacities, is of tremendous value. He has been trained in the Collaborative Law protocol, and has effectively worked to resolve cases in format, as well as through mediation.
