Alex Masterson practices in all areas of family law, including family law appeals. His practice focuses on complex custody cases, including relocation issues, and complex divisions of marital estates. He works diligently to seek effective resolutions for his clients involved in child custody matters and clients going through divorce. Alex handles a wide range of family law issues, including the litigation that often accompanies high conflict cases. When litigation is not the solution, Alex seeks to resolve cases in the manner most beneficial to his client. Alex was born and raised in Alabama and moved to Colorado in 2014. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Birmingham-Southern College in 2011, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2014. While in law school, Alex was an advocate on the National Trial Advocacy Competition Team and a member of the Bench & Bar Legal Honor Society. Alex is involved with the El Paso County Bar Association, the El Paso County Family Law Section, and the Ben S. Wendelken Inn of Court, in addition to the Colorado Bar Association. He is committed to giving back to his community and serves on the Board of Directors for the El Paso County Bar Foundation as the Gala Chair.
